Therapy SERVICES

I offer one-to-one counselling sessions tailored to your individual needs. Together, we create a space where you can explore what’s going on for you, at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Short term therapy is a minimum of 6 sessions whereas deeper work is necessarily a longer process.

Women’s Counselling

A supportive space to explore the unique emotional and psychological experiences of being a woman. In our work together, we look at both what’s happening in your mind (your thoughts, beliefs, and inner stories), and what’s arising in your body (the tension, sensations, and emotional energy stored there). I use a blended approach where I flow between breathwork, somatic awareness, and gentle therapeutic inquiry.

This may include:

  • Identity and self-worth

  • Sexual trauma and recovery

  • Fertility, birth and motherhood

  • Perinatal mental health

  • Relationships and boundaries

  • Divorce or separation

  • Family conflicts

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or burnout

  • Life transitions (motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, retirement, aging)

Psychosynthesis CounsellinG

My main therapeutic approach is grounded in psychosynthesis, a transpersonal psychology developed in Italy by Roberto Assagioli,an Italian psychiatrist and a contemporary of Jung and Freud.

Psychosynthesis is a compassionate and forward-looking approach to counselling that helps you understand how your past has shaped you, while supporting you to grow into who you truly are. Rooted in psychodynamic theory, it recognises the lasting impact of early experiences and unconscious patterns, but places equal importance on what is happening for you right now—within a safe, trusting relationship between you and your counsellor. In this shared space, attention is given to your present-moment thoughts, feelings, and inner experiences as they unfold. What makes psychosynthesis distinctive is its focus on the future as well as the past: it is deeply interested in your potential, your sense of purpose, and what it means for you to live a meaningful life.

This work supports you to:

  • Understand inner conflicts and patterns

  • Connect with your values and sense of purpose

  • Integrate different parts of yourself

  • Navigate life transitions/changes

  • Heal and integrate family wounds

  • Move towards a more authentic way of being

Psychosynthesis Counselling can help you with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship and family dynamics, self esteem issues, inner conflicts and patterns, loss of purpose and burnout.

Working with my clients, I draw on a range of models and techniques to help facilitate change and development. I often work with imagination, guided visualisation, journaling and dream work. I also integrate other tools and methods I have learned as part of my ongoing professional development.

trauma recovery

Trauma can have a huge impact on your life; whether thats a car accident, an attack or a disempowering and frightening birth experience. Sometimes trauma is more than just an event but a more complex history of extended neglect and continuous traumatic experience which leaves a lasting effect on your nervous systems; your body and your ability to thrive. Trauma therapy is a gentle, collaborative process that works with your body as well as your mind at a pace that feels safe and supportive. It is somatically informed, meaning we pay close attention to your felt experience — the physical sensations, impulses, and subtle shifts that arise within you. Rather than focusing only on talking about what has happened, we explore how those experiences are held in your nervous system.

We begin by strengthening your internal resources; your understanding of what is arising and your capacity to feel grounded and stable in the present moment. This includes learning how to work with flashbacks and intrusive thoughts as and when they arise in the present moment. We also look at strengthening your resources outside the therapy space. We only begin to approach difficult material, when you feel grounded, stabilised and ready and we proceed at a pace that allows your system to process and integrate in manageable pieces. This helps prevent overwhelm and supports lasting change.

Trauma therapy requires a more attuned, body-based approach — one that respects the nervous system’s need for safety, pacing, and integration.

Through this process, your nervous system can begin to complete responses that were previously interrupted, release stored tension, and develop a greater sense of regulation. Over time, this can lead to feeling more present, more connected to yourself, and more able to respond to life with flexibility rather than survival.

how my sessions work

My style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and able to explore yourself honestly.

  • Online or in-person. I am based in Kingston and Clapham but work all over SW London in private therapy rooms

  • 50-minute sessions

  • Fees £90 per session

Interior of a room featuring two brown leather chairs with wooden armrests facing each other, a small round white table, a larger round wooden table with intricate legs, a large potted plant with broad green leaves, a white wall with black electrical outlets, and a black wall-mounted speaker. There is a vertical white slatted radiator in the background and a corner of the room with a window covered by white blinds.

What to expect in the first session:

Our first meeting is simply a chance for us to begin getting to know each other. You are welcome to share whatever feels most important about what is bringing you to therapy at this time.

I may ask some gentle questions about your life, your current situation, and what you hope might change or become clearer through our work together. We will also take a little time to talk about how therapy works, and whether it feels right for us to continue working together.

There is no pressure to commit to anything immediately. The first session is simply an opportunity to explore whether this feels like a good fit.

beyond the first session:

Once you decide to continue the process, we will agree together the shape of our work, whether that means a set number of sessions or a more open-ended process. Whilst some difficulties can be worked through in just a few sessions,  deeper exploration often benefits from a longer therapeutic relationship and regular sessions creating a steady and supportive space for meaningful change. I recommend a minimum of 6 weekly sessions, at which point in time we will review our progress thus far, to see if the sessions are being of value to you before continuing.

Our work together lasts for as long as client and counsellor feel it to be worthwhile. This can range from several weeks to several years for deeper work.
